My name is Theresa, and this is my story

I am 38 and I struggle with Bipolar Disorder


MY NAME IS THERESA I AM A MOTHER OF FOUR.... I STRUGGLE WITH DEPRESSION AND BIPOLAR DISORDER...I ALSO HAVE AN ADDICTION AS WELL...IN 2011 I ATTEMPTED TO END MY LIFE MY LIFE BECAME TOO OVERWHELMING, ONE DAY AND I DIDN'T WANT TO FEEL ALL THE PAIN, HURT AND LONINESS...I TOOK A BOTTLE OF XANEX.....WELL I ENDED UP AT THE E.R. MY CIRCULATORY SYSTEM WAS SHUTTING DOWN BUT, I WAS OKAY.. THEY MADE ME STAY FOR 72 HOURS OBSERVATION BUT, THEY COULDN'T KEEP ME BECAUSE I HAD METH IN MY SYSTEM WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO END MY LIFE. TO THIS DAY I OFTEN FEEL AS IF I DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD. NO ONE WOULD NOTICE MY ABSENCE...

  1. You have four children that would notice your absence and now everyone who has read your story. Continue to push forward for yourself and let the world see what a great person you are capable of being. Life is difficult and at times it seems as though we have no place in it. But you are here for a reason, it is not always clear but one day you will realize what it is. It took me 45 years to realize where I can make a difference and now it is full force a head. That dark place is no fun, I spent a straight year there. Keep pushing forward and things will get better not exactly sure when but it will happen and you will be an extremely strong person. Remember you being here is important to me and the others who care about you. Thank you for sharing.
