I am 66 and I survived Suicide

I am a survivor. My son was not he was 24 years old. I have joined Project ; because I want to help other survivors and them to help me try to understand my son’s suicide. I have recently been diagnosed (post attempt) at 66 years old with Bipolar I with severe rapid cycling. It had been missed all these years. I hope I am the proper place.

  1. Losing a child, no matter how old, has got to be one of the hardest things to deal with. Bipolar seems to be too easy to miss. I hope you are getting good help with both your loss and your illness. If you don’t feel the counselor is helping you, find one who does. Some churches have help groups for grief too. Keep trying.
